Job Requirements
- Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in often tightly-quartered environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- TIPS or TEAM trained or equivalent
- Age 21 or older
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Familiarity with standard drink recipes
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong team orientation
- Ability to work with various departments
- Ability to count and make change accurately
- Competence with calculator, bill counters, and coin counters
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the primary language used by guests
- Good technology aptitude for POS and digital registers
- Strong persuasive sales skills
- Scheduling flexibility
Job Duties
- Contribute to goal of 100% customer satisfaction through personal commitment to teamwork and service
- Set up and maintain an efficiently functioning workstation
- Process customer sales transactions efficiently, accurately and in a friendly manner
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to guest specifications and Sodexo Live! standards
- Follow state guidelines for responsible alcoholic beverage service
- Perform cash handling and inventory counts
- Assist servers by fulfilling beverage orders
- Create and maintain a welcoming, comfortable, and relaxed environment for guests
