Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years experience in full service restaurant or hotel restaurant
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours at a time
  • Ability to lift and carry 20-50 pounds
  • Availability to work 2-4 shifts weekly, including weekends
  • Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Must comply with safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Two or more years experience in full service restaurant or hotel restaurant
  • Knowledge of mixology and bar industry trends
  • Ability to provide professional and friendly guest service
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation policies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Have knowledge of current trends in the mixology/bar industry
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in point-of-sale system relaying orders to kitchen and bar
  • Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Be responsible for cleanliness and organization of bar
  • Maintain inventory and daily requisitions
  • Provide a favorable image of the hotel
  • Maintain favorable working relationship with all employees and foster cooperative climate
