Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in bartending or food service preferred
  • basic math proficiency
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and alcohol service
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
  • previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
  • excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for patrons
  • knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met
  • familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage
  • experience in catering or restaurant environments is beneficial but not required
  • ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
  • engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction with their drinks
  • monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies
  • assist in ordering as needed
  • adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service
  • process transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system
  • collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events to ensure seamless service
  • handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently to maintain a positive dining experience
