Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bartending or food service preferred
- basic math proficiency
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and alcohol service
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for patrons
- knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met
- familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage
- experience in catering or restaurant environments is beneficial but not required
- ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction with their drinks
- monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies
- assist in ordering as needed
- adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service
- process transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system
- collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events to ensure seamless service
- handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently to maintain a positive dining experience
