Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • basic mathematic proficiency
  • general knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing
  • available to work required schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
  • record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

Job Qualifications

  • must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company handbook
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • six months experience in customer service or related field preferred
  • record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

Job Duties

  • Prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe
  • communicates with beverage servers and presents drinks to guests or servers as required
  • slices and pits fruit as required
  • operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required by established guidelines and safety procedures
  • maintains a clean and stocked workstation by established health and safety guidelines
  • operates a cash register/POS system, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change
  • accounts for all cash, charge, and non-alcoholic complimentary sales according to established procedure
  • maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
  • monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
  • projects professionalism and a consistently friendly demeanor
  • appears in publicity photos
  • promotes casino events and programs
  • works well with others including beverage servers, bartenders, bar helpers, beverage supervisors, and casino supervisors
  • provides personalized service and uses guest name
  • responsible for fast and clean servicing of all menu items to the servers, and ensures each order sent out is uniform and consistent
  • controls food production including proper cooking methods, cooking time, and temperature, and ensures sanitation, handling, and storage of prepared food and leftovers
  • delivers food items to guests
  • adequately prepares for known peak business levels and maintains a high level of guest service
  • prepares all food items from standardized recipes in assigned outlets
  • resolves service problems according to guidelines
  • adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically and encourages others to do the same
  • performs duties of a coffee bar attendant, bartender, barback, cook, food server, beverage server, cashier/host, or server assistant as needed
  • other duties as assigned
