Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
basic mathematic proficiency
general knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing
available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
a record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

Job Qualifications

availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime

a record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
high school diploma or GED preferred
six months experience in customer service or a related field preferred

Job Duties

Prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe
communicates with beverage servers and presents drinks to guests or servers as required
slices and pits fruit as required
operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required by established guidelines and safety procedures
maintains a clean and stocked workstation by established health and safety guidelines
operates a cash register/POS system, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change
accounts for all cash, charge, and non-alcoholic complimentary sales according to established procedure
maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
projects professionalism and a consistently friendly demeanor
appears in publicity photos
promotes casino events and programs
works well with others including beverage servers, bartenders, bar helpers, beverage supervisors, and casino supervisors
provides personalized service and uses guest names
responsible for fast and clean servicing of all menu items to servers, ensuring uniform and consistent order quality
controls food production including proper cooking methods, cooking times, and temperatures
delivers food items to guests
prepares adequately for known peak business levels while maintaining high guest service levels
prepares all food items from standardized recipes
resolves service problems according to guidelines
adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically and encourages others to do the same
performs duties of different roles such as coffee bar attendant, bartender, barback, cook, food server, beverage server, cashier/host, or server assistant as needed
fulfills other duties as assigned
