Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • Basic mathematic proficiency
  • General knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by Prairie Band Casino & Resort team member handbook
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 6 months experience in customer service or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe
  • Communicates with beverage servers and presents drinks to guests or servers as required
  • Slices and pits fruit as required
  • Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required by established guidelines and safety procedures
  • Maintains a clean and stocked workstation by established health and safety guidelines
  • Operates a cash register/POS system, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change
  • Accounts for all cash, charge, and non-alcoholic complimentary sales according to established procedure
  • Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
  • Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
  • Must project professionalism and a consistently friendly demeanor
  • Appears in publicity photos
  • Promotes casino events and programs
  • Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, bar helpers, beverage supervisors, and casino supervisors
  • Provides personalized service and uses guest name
  • Responsible for fast and clean servicing of all menu items to the servers, and ensures each order sent out is uniform and consistent
  • Controls food production to include proper cooking methods, cooking time, and temperature, and ensures sanitation, handling, and storage of prepared food and leftovers
  • Delivers food items to guests
  • Adequately prepares for known peak business levels and effectively maintains a high level of guest service
  • Prepares all food items from standardized recipes when working in assigned outlets
  • Resolves service problems according to guidelines
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically and encourages others to do the same
  • Performs the duties of a coffee bar attendant, bartender, barback, cook, food server, beverage server, cashier/host, or server assistant as needed in assigned outlets
  • Other duties as assigned
