Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in bartending or customer service
  • ability to take written and verbal instructions in English
  • clear spoken English communication
  • ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
  • ability to operate bar machines and equipment including cash register, dishwashers, speed batch ovens, and microwave
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to handle difficult situations professionally
  • ability to open and close bar and manage supplies
  • physical ability to move efficiently around the bar area
  • ability to distinguish currency denominations and make change
  • willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to obtain and maintain required certifications

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior bartending or customer service experience preferred
  • strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • ability to mix various types of drinks
  • proficiency in operating bar equipment
  • excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • capable of working flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to obtain and maintain required certifications as per company policy

Job Duties

  • open and close the hotel bar according to company policies and procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and food prep areas
  • prepare and mix a wide variety of drinks for guests
  • operate bar machines and equipment including cash register, dishwashers, speed batch ovens, and microwave
  • provide excellent customer service and effectively communicate with guests and team members
  • handle difficult situations diplomatically while maintaining professionalism
  • obtain supplies necessary for cocktail preparation
  • respond accurately to guest inquiries about the hotel and local area
  • distinguish between currency denominations and make correct change
