Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- ability to work independently
- ability to maintain a clean and neat appearance
- ability to maintain adequate attendance
- ability to follow instructions
- ability to work with a point of sale system and handle cash bank reconciliation
- ability to carry a serving tray
- physical ability to perform moderate to considerable physical effort including lifting 25-50 pounds
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- adherence to city policies and liquor laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- bartending experience preferred
- guest service experience preferred
- cash handling experience preferred
- must be at least 21 years of age
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, colleagues, and the public
- ability to work independently and follow instructions
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service to patrons of the golf course facilities
- maintain thorough knowledge of beverage menus including house brand liquors, liquor, beer and wine
- greet guests warmly and utilize suggestive selling and upselling techniques
- serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages prepared per recipes
- stock glassware and ice, prepare mixes and garnishes
- manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
- follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- work in an organized and expedient manner to anticipate guest needs including staging, refills, and clearing tables
- deliver food and beverage items to guests with tray service
- keep stations and work areas clean
- perform all side work duties including opening and closing tasks
- handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- uphold established liquor laws and restaurant alcohol policies, monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary
- attend team and organizational meetings, training, events, and activities representing the department professionally
- perform other duties as assigned
