Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED preferred
- 1 to 3 years of experience bartending in food and beverage environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least the minimum age required to serve alcohol as determined by applicable state law
- Able to free-pour to recipe and specification
- Extensive knowledge of beer, wine and liquor
- Good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills
- Able to interact professionally with other customers and team members
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good judgment and decision making abilities

Job Duties

- Provide every customer with an awesome first, next and last great experience

- Address customers by name and shake their hand if appropriate
- Involve customers in conversations throughout their entire experience
- Accommodate and meet special needs of customers such as senior citizens, large parties, and business meetings
- Utilize genuine salesmanship techniques during customer interactions
- Possess extensive knowledge of all food, serious seafood, chalkboard specials and beverage selections
- Place accurate orders using the POS
- Deliver food and beverages to customers promptly
- Manage the bar during each shift as though it were your own business
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and storage areas
- Adhere to responsible beverage service requirements
- Verify customers are at least 21 years of age before alcohol service
- Answer the telephone in a friendly, upbeat manner
- Take and manage all to-go orders
- Adhere to cash handling policies
- Assist servers by running drinks to tables
- Help the host by encouraging customers to sit in the bar
- Stock glassware, ice, garnishes
- Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and secure environment at all times
- Notify a manager of all customer complaints
- Remain calm at all times
- Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by a manager
