- Be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Have or obtain state applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
- Basic knowledge of beer and wine
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Honest and reliable
- Self-motivated and dependable

- Willingness to learn register and computer operations

Job Duties
- Welcomes each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times
- Makes guests feel appreciated through your actions
- Works as a team with all personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient food and beverage service
- Keeps all areas cleaned and stocked to company standards at all times
- Mixes, garnishes, and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes
- Prepares food items as needed
- Inputs drink orders into computer immediately, collects money and makes change
- Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display
- Washes and sterilizes stemware
- Counts drinks served and tracks open bar tabs
- Anticipates guests' needs and follows the half-full rule when offering another drink
- Learns guests' names, occupations, and favorite drinks
- Responsibly serves alcohol and monitors guests' state of intoxication
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Prepares bar for theatre opening or closing
- Tracks inventory and spoilage control
- Participates in general theatre cleaning and operational tasks as directed
- Handles minor customer complaints and calls the manager if necessary
