Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Walk and stand for long periods of time (6-8 hours)
  • Reach, bend, stoop, wipe and lift up to 60 lbs
  • Rate cash register and/or POS/TMX system and makes correct change

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old to serve alcohol or as state regulations dictate
  • Must have friendly and outgoing personality and demeanor
  • Must be a problem solver and have the ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment
  • Able to perform physical requirements

Job Duties

  • Mix ingredients to prepare drinks, serve draft & bottled beer, wine, and liquor according to procedure / recipe and restaurant specifications
  • Greet guests within one minute of being seated
  • Work in a team environment and communicate well with guests and fellow Team Members
  • Introduce yourself by name and provide great salesmanship thru suggestive selling
  • Serve the guests food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner
  • Provide responsible alcohol service adhering to the company policies and state and local regulations
  • Ring in orders correctly and in a timely fashion to allow appropriate ticket times
  • Seat guests and answer the phone when Host staff not present or available
  • Pre-bus tables in your section and surrounding sections
  • Abide by full hands in and full hands out mentality
  • Run food, refill beverages and complete running side work throughout the shift
  • Perform correct and timely cash outs for guests
  • Bus and reset tables in a timely fashion in compliance with trained timing specifications
  • Maintain general cleanliness such as floors, restrooms, doors and windows
  • Complete side work duties
  • Observe guests and report any concerns or complaints to Management prior to the guest leaving
  • Give sincere final greetings to guests and invite them to return
