Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending experience
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to work on feet for extended periods
- capability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow company dress code including wearing close-toed shoes and pants
- willingness to comply with GMP guidelines for food handling positions
- ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a professional bartender
- strong knowledge of classic cocktails
- excellent communication skills
- ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
- familiarity with point of sale systems
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- understanding of Tennessee state beverage regulations
Job Duties
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- interact with customers and take orders of food and drinks
- assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails to Nelson’s specifications
- plan and present bar menu
- check customers’ identification and confirm it meets Tennessee’s drinking requirements
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies before and after each shift
- stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- comply with all food and beverage regulations for the State of Tennessee
