Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending experience
- ability to work full-time and flexible hours
- physical ability to stand or move for extended periods
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- comply with dress code including close-toed shoes and pants
- maintain personal grooming according to GMP guidelines
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of classic cocktails and mixology techniques
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to engage with customers and provide personalized service
- familiarity with Tennessee alcohol laws and regulations
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- interact with customers, take orders of food and drinks
- assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails to Nelson’s specifications
- plan and present bar menu
- check customers’ identification and confirm it meets Tennessee’s drinking requirements
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies before and after each shift
- stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- comply with all food and beverage regulations for the State of Tennessee
