Job Requirements
- Bartending experience
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable operating point of sale machines and cash registers
- Willingness to work on feet for entire shifts
- Physical ability to reach, crouch, bend, and perform other strenuous activities
- Adherence to dress code including close-toed shoes and pants
- Compliance with GMP guidelines for food handling positions
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards during shifts
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of classic cocktails and drink preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and personable demeanor
- Familiarity with Tennessee's alcohol serving regulations
- Strong guest service orientation
Job Duties
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- interact with customers and take orders of food and drinks
- assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails to Nelson's specifications
- plan and present bar menu
- check customers' identification and confirm it meets Tennessee’s drinking requirements
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies before and after each shift
- stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- comply with all food and beverage regulations for the State of Tennessee
