Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages according to state law
  • able to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • must maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • able to comply with hotel standards and policies
  • physically able to handle the demands of the position including standing for extended periods
  • ability to pass any required background checks or screenings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred
  • knowledge of responsible alcohol service and local regulations
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • customer service oriented
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • familiarity with inventory management and payment processing

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean bar and service area
  • process payments
  • take and manage inventory of the bar
  • sell, prepare and serve food and beverages including alcoholic, non alcoholic and coffee
  • ensure guests are served according to state and local alcohol service guidelines
  • be hospitable and gracious in all guest and associate interactions
  • oversee bar maintenance
  • handle equipment properly including china, glassware, silverware, linen, and props
  • know hotel standards of service
  • maintain safe and efficient behind the scenes work practices
  • perform other duties as requested by a supervisor
