Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in bartending in a high-volume or upscale environment
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State of Hawaii Liquor Commission card
  • Experience using point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs comfortably, occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
  • Work with team members to safely lift and transport heavy items
  • Ability to handle guest intoxication responsibly

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume or upscale environment
  • Strong knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine brands and products, including popular cocktails and proper garnishing
  • Experience in using a point-of-sale system
  • Must be able to obtain a valid State of Hawaii Liquor Commission card
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
  • Minimum age 18 years old to legally serve alcohol in the State of Hawaii

Job Duties

  • Prepare drinks, pour beer and wine, and serve wine/champagne according to company recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all drink recipes and menu offerings
  • Take guest orders, promote food and beverage options, deliver items, and ensure timely service and table maintenance
  • Properly enter and close guest checks using the point-of-sale system and handle payments accurately
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work duties
  • maintain cleanliness in all service, prep, and storage areas
  • Engage with guests, anticipate service needs, and resolve any concerns using positive communication and service recovery techniques
