Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes
  • minimum of 3 years bartending experience
  • ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • ability to work in environments with noise and heat

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available
  • ensure that fruit and other garnishes are prepared
  • prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered
  • report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur
  • maintain and clean bar area and equipment
  • maintain daily inventory and records
  • check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol
  • assist food servers and hostesses as needed
