Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- read, write legibly, understand, and speak English
- available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- must meet professional appearance standards including uniform requirements
- able to respond to visual and oral cues
- able to quickly problem-solve and resolve service issues according to guidelines
- able to work in constricted areas
- able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
- able to work at a fast pace in crowded and noisy environments
- physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry, and lift
- must obtain and maintain required licensures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or bartender role preferred
- understanding of health and safety regulations
- basic math and cash handling skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- proficiency in operating POS systems
- knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
- ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Serves as an ambassador of goodwill while working
- promotes casino events and programs
- provides personalized service and uses guest name
- resolves service problems according to guidelines
- works well with others and practices timely and professional communication
- operates a cash register/POS system, rings proper amounts and items, gives correct change, accounts for all cash and sales, maintains integrity of financial controls
- prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe
- monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed
- maintains stock and organization of liquors, beers, wine, beverages, glassware, fruit, ice, and other supplies following FIFO
- maintains a clean and stocked workstation following health and safety guidelines
- maintains cleanliness and organization of guest-facing and storage areas
- operates and maintains all equipment and utensils according to guidelines and safety procedures
