Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years bartending experience
- Experience in a craft bar preferred
- Familiarity with POS in fast-paced bar or casino settings
- One year of cash handling experience required
- Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently under deadlines
- Detail oriented with prioritization skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Capability to work safely in fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic
- Must hold a valid Gaming License
- Must obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of bartending experience
- Experience within a craft bar highly preferred
- Experience with POS systems in fast-paced environments
- One year of cash handling experience
- Extensive knowledge of mixology and drink preparation techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Detail oriented
- Capable of working individually or as part of a team
- Able to work safely and efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fractions
- Valid Gaming License
- Certification in responsible service of alcohol through Prairie Flower training courses
Job Duties
- Provides excellent and personalized beverage service to guests by engaging professionally and courteously
- Crafts and serves a diverse range of high-quality cocktails, wines, and other beverages with precision and creativity
- Maintains deep understanding of casino and restaurant beverage menus to ensure quick and efficient service
- Offers recommendations to guests and staff to enhance guest experience
- Takes drink orders accurately and ensures timely delivery with correct items
- Ensures bar is appropriately stocked and restocking is timely with Barback
- Works with Point of Sale (POS) system to enter orders accurately and handle payments
- Follows responsible alcohol service guidelines including monitoring for intoxication and age verification
- Sets up and maintains cleanliness and organization of work area according to food safety standards
- Maintains professional appearance and positive demeanor
- Ensures consistent attendance and adheres to required work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Resolves safety hazards promptly and maintains safety standards
- Acts as a role model upholding Prairie Flower Casino’s mission and values
