Job Qualifications
- Experience in bartending or beverage service
- Knowledge of mixing techniques and cocktail recipes
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred ServeSafe or alcohol safety certification
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry
Job Duties
- Take beverage orders, mix and serve drinks following standard company recipes, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met
- Greet guests in a cheerful and helpful manner
- Maintain bar efficiency and continuity of service by stocking the bar as appropriate, preparing garnish trays, replacing beer kegs and soda bags/canisters as necessary
- Clean all bar surfaces and re-stock glassware
- Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
