Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six months bartending experience in a high-volume front bar, service bar, or fine dining environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in fast-paced, noisy, and varied lighting conditions
- Must be able to work irregular shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must obtain and maintain all required licenses and certifications
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication skills in English
- Minimum of six months experience bartending in a high-volume front bar, service bar, and/or fine dining environment
- Ability to lift, carry, or maneuver up to 25 pounds
- Capable of sitting, walking, standing, bending, lifting, reaching, pulling, pushing, squatting and grasping extensively
- Experience working in environments with high volumes, diverse clientele, noise, music, minimal or bright lighting, and smoky conditions
- Flexibility to work irregular shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications
Job Duties
- Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients
- Bartenders will always comply with and enforce alcohol awareness laws and procedures
- Adhere to established procedures, departmental guidelines and policies at all times, including guest service, cashiering, portion control, sanitation and organization
- Utilize proper cash/comp handling procedures and charge correct price for all food and beverages in Micros
- Maintain a clean and organized bar at all times, completing side work, cleaning and stocking duties efficiently and timely
- Recognize and correctly make a variety of beverages, adhering to recipes and specified measured pouring portions with appropriate garnish, accurate pricing, use of proper glassware and proper wine service
- Operate and clean various equipment including frozen beverage machine, dishwasher, ice machine, pouring gun, and other related beverage equipment
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and management
- Handle all types of guest related situations
- Provide food service at front bar in specified areas
- Perform all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor or manager
