Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails beer and wine
- create new and exciting drink recipes and adapt to customer preferences
- suggestive selling to increase sales such as recommending premium liquors or special cocktails
- greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- take and process drink orders from customers
- engage with patrons providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu
- handle multiple drink orders and customer requests simultaneously
- maintain a clean and well-organized bar area at all times
- clean and sanitize glassware utensils and bar equipment regularly
- process payments and provide accurate change
- handle customer tabs and payments responsibly
- ensure responsible alcohol service by identifying and addressing overconsumption
- monitor and restock the bar with supplies including liquor mixers garnishes and glassware
- keep track of inventory levels and report shortages
- follow all local and state alcohol regulations including checking IDs and not serving underage or intoxicated customers
