Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Willingness to work full time
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to handle payments and complete cashier reports

Job Duties

  • Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes
  • Issue, open, and serve wine and champagne bottles
  • Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar, bar unit, tables, and tools
  • Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
  • Transport supplies to bar set-up area
  • Wash soiled glassware
  • Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated areas
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
  • Process all payment methods
  • Count bank at end of shift and complete cashier reports
  • Resolve discrepancies and secure bank
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, cabinets, and storage areas
  • Complete closing duties
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures
  • Report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests
  • Anticipate and address guest needs
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Read and verify information
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move and lift objects up to 50 pounds
