Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years bartending experience in a luxury or high-end cocktail bar
  • Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverage service
  • Basic math and English language skills
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Able to communicate effectively in English
  • Must obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification within 30 days
  • Must obtain California Food Handler Card within 30 days
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Two years bartending experience in high-end or luxury cocktail bar
  • Mixology work experience preferred
  • FORBES training preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
  • Competent mathematical skills for cash handling
  • Proficiency in English for communication and documentation
  • Ability to operate POS systems
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and handle lifting
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must obtain Responsible Beverage Service and California Food Handler Card within 30 days

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper and adequate bar set-up daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables daily
  • Greet guests courteously and promote, document, and serve drink orders
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and practice portion control
  • Check guests for proper identification and act upon guest inebriation according to training
  • Input orders into the point of sale system and maintain accountability of all beverages served
  • Handle cash transactions, verify charges, balance money, secure equipment and cash drops
