Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume setting
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for entire shifts
  • Must obtain RBS certification within first week of hire
  • Ability to follow all alcohol serving laws and regulations
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of high-volume bartending experience
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of shift
  • RBS Certification must be obtained within the first week of employment

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and guide patrons to help determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, upsell and take drink orders
  • Check identification and strictly follow all ABC guidelines to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol
  • Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages and food orders to customers
  • Inform customers about new menu items and specials
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
  • Serve food and remove used dishware, cutlery and glassware in a timely fashion
  • Carefully assess customer alcohol intake to avoid overserving
  • Adhere to all food safety, service, and quality regulations
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
  • Maintain a clean work environment by helping clean the dining area, tables, bar area, including and washing glasses, utensils, and applicable equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
