Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
  • Knowledge of liquor types drink recipes and bar equipment
  • Ability to use point of sale systems such as MICROS
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Must be able to work varied schedules including nights weekends and holidays
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
  • Be familiar with all kinds of liquor recipes and prices of drinks proper glassware and garnishes
  • Know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
  • Handle cash accurately including discounting use of MICROS system bank procedures and tip policies
  • Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Complete formal liquor liability training within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
