Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of liquor types and drink recipes
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Completion of liquor liability training within 30 days of employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of drink recipes and beverage mixing techniques
- Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems especially MICROS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition
- Be completely familiar with all kinds of liquor recipes and prices of drinks and proper glassware and garnishes
- Know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
- Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including discounting MICROS system or registers bank procedures and tip policies
- Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations at all times
- Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction
- Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
