Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally
Basic cash handling skills
Ability to follow instructions and guidelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and team player mindset

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to memorize food, cocktail and wine list menus
Knowledge of alcohol safety regulations and policies
Basic math skills for cash handling

Job Duties

Observe customers as they enter the bar area and ensure that they are greeted promptly and seated in a timely and friendly manner
Verify ID and age of guests when necessary
Know how to make traditional and classic cocktails as well as specialty cocktails listed on the menu
Check in regularly with every guest to ensure satisfaction with food and drinks
Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures as per LodgeWorks standards
