Job Requirements

  • BASSET training required
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • 1 year concession or bar service experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform some heavy lifting
  • Background check

Job Duties

  • Sell alcoholic beverages before, during and after MAC events
  • Ensure compliance with Village of Glen Ellyn and State of Illinois liquor regulations
  • Adhere to BASSET rules and operating signage requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness of concession equipment including coffee maker, ice machine, refrigerators, lobby areas, pantries, and carts
  • Prepare sales area with attention to detail during set-up and breakdown to enhance product presentation
  • Transport food and beverages from storage to sales area, arrange aesthetically, sell product, remove unsold products and return to storage focusing on cleanliness and efficiency
  • Restock containers for succeeding events and account for inventories
  • Maintain accurate concession sale reports and reconcile cash with Box Office attendances at close of sales
  • Promote excellent customer service with focus on promptness, cleanliness and friendly interaction
  • Clean and lock-up according to prescribed procedures
  • Occasionally work as food server
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
