Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent or five consecutive years of consistent employment
- Preferred 1 to 2 years of customer service experience
- Prior hospitality industry experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work assigned shifts including day and mid shifts with occasional nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of liquor types, recipes, and proper serving techniques
- Familiarity with cash handling and point of sale systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and complying with legal requirements

Job Duties
- Perform any reasonable requests as assigned or directed by management
- Provide for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances related to alcohol service
- Be familiar with all types of liquor, recipes, prices, proper glassware and garnishes
- Accurately prepare daily requisitions to maintain bar stock
- Promote and upsell liquor and food
- Ensure all beverages are accounted for on servers and bartender checks
- Follow age identification and intoxicated guest policies
- Complete formal liquor training within 30 days and every 2 years thereafter
- Follow proper cash handling procedures including discounts, system operations, bank procedures and tip policies
- Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness at the bar
