Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with MICROS or similar POS systems
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Familiarity with POS systems such as MICROS
  • Strong cash handling skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
  • Be completely familiar with all kinds of liquor recipes and prices of drinks including proper glassware and garnishes used
  • Know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
  • Follow accurate cash handling procedures including discounting MICROS system or registers bank procedures and tip policies
  • Accurately charge guests for drinks and handle all monies
  • Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
