Job Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have the ability to take directions and effectively perform the work
Must have basic working knowledge of cash register operation
Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees
Must have a pleasant personality and neat appearance
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
Must be able to carry and lift at least 40 lbs, according to industry standards

Prior bartending experience is ideal but not required

Job Duties

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences
Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
Take drink orders and engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction
Ensure the bar is well-stocked with supplies
Monitor inventory levels and inform barbacks when supplies need to be replenished
Maintain a clean and organized bar area
Check identification to verify legal drinking age
Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding alcohol service and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
Provide recommendations on drink choices, engage in light conversation, and handle any customer complaints or concerns politely and professionally
Set up bar before opening hours, ensuring all supplies and equipment are ready for service
Clean and organize the bar after closing
