Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • Flexible availability including long hours
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Maintain professional appearance and grooming
  • Adherence to safety and operational policies

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers and employees
  • Set up the bar according to hotel standards and serve guests promptly
  • Prepare beverages and cocktails following hotel mixing and presentation standards
  • Serve guests with all beverage requirements courteously and professionally
  • Break down bar after functions and store liquor, supplies, and equipment as per standards
  • Follow all state liquor laws
  • Know hotel services and facilities
  • Abide by hotel policies and safety rules
  • Serve liquor responsibly to avoid issues with intoxicated guests
  • Address guests' problems, complaints, and accidents effectively
  • Be familiar with fire exits and operate fire extinguishers
  • Keep bar and service areas clean and tidy during service
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
