Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or related food and beverage experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to comply with all health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of city policies and procedures
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations inventory management and cost control
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations sanitation guidelines and alcohol service laws
- Positive attitude and good personal behavior
- Moderate level of technological competency
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with the public using tact and professionalism
- Ability to act quickly and calmly in emergency situations
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and the general public
- Ability to interact with people of different social economic and ethnic backgrounds
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails beers wines and specialty drinks
- Follow safe handling standards for stocking beverages and related supplies including rotating and storing products and pulling expired products
- Follow all safety and health policies and procedures including use of protective equipment proper refrigeration and food handling
- Maintain daily inventories
- Operate work related machines tools and equipment such as registers credit card machines and kitchen equipment
- Process card and mobile payments and ensure accuracy of charges
- Maintain a clean organized and presentable work area by performing cleaning tasks according to policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations sanitation guidelines and alcohol service laws
- Perform related work as required
