Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- verified completion of bartending school
- responsible beverage service (RBS) certification required or ability to obtain
- food handler certification as required by local jurisdiction
- ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- at least two years of verifiable bartending experience
- verifiable bartending certificate
- good personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to physically transport up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis
- ability to follow cash handling procedures
- commitment to comply with safety and health policies
- union membership with dues required

Job Duties
- Greet guests and take beverage orders from servers or guests directly
- mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages according to company standards
- utilize high-quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs, and spices to create exceptional drinks
- maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
- provide wine service and make appropriate suggestions based on guest needs
- work with culinary team to create mixers and garnishes
- check identification to verify legal drinking age
- handle assigned cash bank and follow cash handling procedures
- collect payments and balance receipts
- ensure bar area is fully equipped and prepare inventory or purchase requisitions
- serve food items to guests at the bar
- maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions
- keep work area clean and organized
- organize catering storage areas
- attend mandatory meetings
- perform general cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards
- complete other duties assigned by supervisor
