Job Requirements

Must be 19 years of age or older
Must be fluent in English
Must have bartending experience at a high-end private club, hotel/resort or restaurant preferred but not required
Must demonstrate strong knowledge of craft and classic cocktails, beer, and wine
Must have a genuine desire to provide the utmost in service excellence
Must exhibit a neat, clean and professional appearance
Must be a natural team player with a friendly, optimistic, can-do attitude
Must be self-motivated and understand the importance of being efficient and keeping busy
Must be able to multi-task and problem solve while working in a fast-paced environment
Must be capable of being discreet while handling conversations and issues with confidentiality
Must have strong verbal communication skills while always striving for accuracy
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and be able to lift 30 pounds
Must be punctual, have reliable attendance, a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation
Must be able to abide by the OCC Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug Policy

Job Qualifications

Bartending experience at a high-end private club, hotel/resort or restaurant preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of craft and classic cocktails, beer, and wine

Job Duties

Go above and beyond working collaboratively with the culinary and dining service teams to ensure all members and guests enjoy an impeccable bar and dining experience
Serve all members of Omaha Country Club with a warm, approachable, respectful, professional demeanor with the intent of developing and nurturing relationships over time
Maintain an efficiently run bar area that is clean, neat and appropriately stocked
Prepare and serve craft and classic cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, beer and wine
Greet members and guests promptly, take food and beverage orders, and ensure all orders are served promptly and to member specifications
Develop knowledge of menu items to accurately answer questions about ingredients, cooking techniques, and wine pairings
Clear dishes to ensure proper cleanliness during and after meal service
Accurately enter transaction information into the computerized POS system
Abide by all state and federal regulations and policies for serving alcoholic beverages
