Job Requirements
- At least two years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
- Experience in an upscale or luxury dining environment preferred
- Hotel or resort experience preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros or Agilysis is a plus
- Maricopa County Food Handler Card required
- TIPS certification required
- Title IV certification preferred
- ServSafe certification preferred
- CPR or First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to work part-time with availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent multitasking and customer service abilities

Job Duties
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
- Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
- Check guests for proper identification
- Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest and personnel guests including those served by other servers to maintain accountability of all beverages served
- Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed in order to balance all moneys
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce
- Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
- Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
- Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
- Lock up and store all beverage, food and other items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
- Attend mandatory meetings
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed
