Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior bartending or relevant hospitality experience preferred
- Valid alcohol server certification or ability to obtain in the State of New Mexico
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina for standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weight
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, hotel, or resort environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and mixology technics
- Must possess or obtain a valid alcohol server certification with the State of New Mexico
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests while maintaining Hyatt's service standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area at all times
- Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and regulations
- Restock liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, and bar supplies as needed
- Maintain professionalism and composure during busy service periods
