Job Requirements
- minimum 2 years food and beverage experience preferably as bartender
- high school diploma preferred
- any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
- ability to obtain food service sanitation certification
- first aid and CPR certification preferred
- maintain neat, clean, well-groomed appearance
- pass pre-employment background check
Job Qualifications
- at least 18 years old
- excellent people skills and outgoing personality

- maintains a current state alcohol serving permit
- able to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends and holidays
- able to lift and carry at least 50lbs
- ability to move up to 150 lbs with wheeled assistance
- able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods
- demonstrates competency as outlined in training schedule
- service minded individual with a positive attitude
- quick and adept at handling stressful situations
- computer literate
- able to handle criticism

Job Duties
- take food and beverage orders
- retrieve and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
- serve food to guests according to the resort's food and beverage specifications
- assist with maintenance and cleaning of the restaurant area and equipment
- provide the highest levels of service and professionalism
- adhere to food and beverage service standards
- greet guests with enthusiasm and maintain positive guest relations
- anticipate guests' needs and resolve complaints
- utilize suggestive up selling techniques
- answer guest questions about food, beverages, and facilities
- serve snacks or food items at the bar
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and drinks
- remove soiled wares and clean bar areas
- arrange bottles and glasses attractively
- plan and organize bar operations
- create drink recipes
- manage cash bank and process payments
- order liquors and supplies
- develop guest relationships
- communicate with food and beverage staff
- maintain professional co-worker relationships
- use correct phone etiquette
- follow checklists and standard operating procedures
- prepare work area for shifts
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- adhere to state liquor regulations and responsible serving
- increase knowledge of products and services continually
- perform related tasks as requested
