Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits characteristics
- Knowledge of beverage products and cocktail recipes
- Understanding of liquor laws
- Ability to assist customers with menu and bar selections
- Ability to interact courteously with the public
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Skill in preparing event documentation accurately
- Experience with computerized cash registers
- Ability to work in fast paced settings
- Proficiency in cash and credit handling
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Working knowledge of the characteristics of wine, beer and spirits
- Knowledge of beverage products and cocktail recipes
- Familiarity with liquor laws
- Ability to assist customers in making menu and bar selections
- Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Ability to make simple arithmetic calculations
- Ability to prepare event sheets properly and in a timely manner
- Competency in operating computerized cash register
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent memory
- Proficient in handling cash and/or credit cards and making change properly
Job Duties
- Takes, prepares and serves orders for beverages
- Advises customers regarding menu items
- Occasionally serves food to and assists patrons at catered events
- Politely answers customers' questions regarding the organization
- Makes coffee and other beverages
- Performs some record-keeping for inventory, tax and timecard purposes
