Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift at least 40 pounds
  • Ability to handle repetitive motions and work in varying temperature environments

Job Duties

  • Contribute to the overall guest experience
  • Must have a willingness and enthusiasm to learn about beer, cocktails, and pizza, and share that knowledge with others
  • Be responsible for positions/duties assigned in the Taproom FOH including all bar duties, cleaning, POS and other tasks as assigned
  • Successful completion of opening and closing taproom checklists
  • Directing coworkers during shifts on task completion, customer experience, cleanliness, beer releases, and other duties as needed
  • Understanding and abiding by federal and state alcohol regulations
  • Support operations moving to expand into The Grove in 2025
  • Taproom & Hospitality-
  • Serve guests beer, food, wine and crafted cocktails, as well as selling brewery merchandise, and packaged beer
  • Execute on all aspects of the cocktail program including accurately pouring to order cocktails, batching cocktails, preparing garnishes, serving guests cocktails through a draft system, adding correct garnishes, etc
  • Use a Point-of-Sale System to ring up credit transactions, as well as managing open bar tabs
  • Politely but firmly enforce tasting room and brewery rules and regulations
  • Ensure that the tasting room and grounds, including the parking lot, and restrooms are thoroughly cleaned and prepped before and after each shift
  • Work closely with Management, helping wherever needed
  • Bartend when the taproom is open to the public
  • Provide excellent customer experience to create brand loyalty and grow the business
  • Cultivate positive work environments for coworkers by being an adaptable team-player
  • Work 3-4 weekends per month
  • Consistently coach and direct coworkers on meeting and exceeding customers' needs and adhering to company policy and procedure
  • Resolve customer issues timely with hospitality mindset
  • Support larger public events throughout the year with staging, bartending, and breakdown
  • Support Private Events in set-up, printing signage and execution of event with taproom staff
  • Attend weekly virtual marketing taproom meetings as needed
  • Assist with ordering supplies, products, merchandise and managing those items so they are NCO (neat, clean organized)
  • Send communication to the taproom team about systems, policies and procedures
  • Assist in ideating, creating and implementing new procedures/systems
  • Assist with scheduling taproom employees
  • Assist with creating and printing out new/old programing signage and keeping the taproom's marketing materials up to date
  • Remain knowledgeable of the pizza kitchen items and offerings to sell to customers
  • Perform all opening and closing tasks listed in SOP's
  • Responsible for in-person training for newly hired bartenders when assigned by General Manager
  • ServSafe alcohol certification
  • Uphold team accountability by utilizing Monday Night Brewing's documentation policy

  • Marketing & Signage Coordination-
  • Maintain and update event signage, collaborating with the team to ensure timely distribution to internal social channels
  • Work closely with marketing leads and taproom management to align on event promotion, including Eventbrite listings, website updates, and monthly calendars
  • Ensure all public event details are accurately reflected in marketing materials, including pop-ups, live music, food truck schedules, etc
  • Manage updates for menu signage and printed menus, working with the team to keep offerings current
  • Plan and finalize the Monthly Promo Calendar, ensuring it is ready before each new month
  • Uses repetitive motions
