Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hour shifts
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop and twist while preparing cocktails
  • Must be able to use hand motions when preparing and pouring all types of drinks and cleaning bar areas
  • Must be able to work in constricting areas
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
  • Must be flexible with schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work in environments with dust, secondhand smoke, noise, temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a team environment and under stress as volume of business increases
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Mathematical ability including ability to add and subtract
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hour shifts
  • Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques
  • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Providing prompt and courteous beverage refreshment service to guests
  • Providing a great experience for every guest through courteous interaction
  • Keeping informed of continually changing promotional beverages, events and services
  • Maintaining integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
  • Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening as needed according to guidelines
  • Serving as ambassador of goodwill during work and at customer and public relations functions
  • Promoting casino events and programs
  • Working closely with rewards program to promote new card sign up programs
  • Providing personalized service using guest names
  • Resolving service problems according to guidelines
  • Preparing and pouring drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe
  • Slicing and pitting fruit as required
  • Operating and maintaining all equipment and utensils in accordance with guidelines and safety procedures
  • Operating a cash register/POS system, ringing correct amounts and giving accurate change
  • Maintaining a clean and stocked workstation per health and safety guidelines
