Job Requirements

  • Must be at a minimum of 18 years old
  • two years bartending experience
  • previous bartending and guest service experience required, upscale hotel or resort experience strongly preferred
  • must have and maintain current TIPS, ServSafe or equivalent alcohol training
  • MICROS experience preferred
  • must be able to communicate effectively
  • must consistently demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be teamwork-oriented, and exhibit a positive attitude
  • must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • must be able to stand and walk for extended periods or entire shifts
  • must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Master drink recipes according to brand standards
  • maintain full familiarity with menus and beverage offerings, including wine service
  • support Omni Safe and Clean Covid-19 protocols throughout the outlet
  • follow procedures as outlined in employee and bartender manuals
  • greet guests pleasantly and attend to all their needs during their visit
  • adhere to liquor liability laws
  • communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests
  • alert management immediately of any guest suggestions, complaints, or issues
  • maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and bar area
  • process orders using the MICROS system, present accurate checks to guests, and handle payments
  • complete all opening and closing side work
  • ensure consistency in cocktail presentation and recipes
  • be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants
  • monitor inventory, place and receive warehouse orders daily, and ensure proper par levels of products
  • attend department meetings and required company trainings
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
