Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • possess required certifications and licenses according to local regulations
  • ability to work standing and walking for extended periods
  • capability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • comfortable working in environments with warm temperatures and loud noise
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Job Qualifications

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • must have all certifications and licenses as required by local health department and alcoholic beverage commission statutes
  • ability to enforce company policies and alcohol consumption laws and regulations

Job Duties

  • Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies
  • prepare fruit and other garnishes
  • prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered
  • report complaints to manager promptly
  • maintain and clean bar area and equipment
  • maintain daily inventory and records
  • check identification to verify legal drinking age
  • assist food servers and hostesses as needed
