Previous bartending experience
availability to work all shifts on weekends and holidays
good communication skills
ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
understanding of food and beverage products
knowledge of liquor regulations
ability to handle stressful situations

capability to maintain inventory and ordering
proficiency in basic arithmetic
high level of personal grooming

Job Duties

Easily accessible to club members on daily basis
always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
approach all encounters with members, guests, and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
able to work in a multi-cultural workplace
become familiar with local customs and nuances at the club
maintain regular attendance in an effort of being visible to the operations team and club members
monitor work performance and member satisfaction
maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing proper work attire and name tag
be a good communicator both verbally and written
maintain communication with all departments of the club
strong two-way communication with peers and senior leadership
comply with Oahu Country Club standards and regulations
maintain all club service standards without shortcuts
maintain proper inventory of all bar-related items, ordering, prep, setup, breakdown, and cleaning
learn and understand all club member rules and liquor regulations
maintain knowledge and understanding of service area
monitor and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of bar and surrounding area
convey information and ideas clearly
evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly
work well under high-pressure situations

handle workplace problems effectively
assimilate complex information from multiple sources
listen to and clarify concerns raised by associates, members, and guests
