Job Requirements
- High School diploma
- minimum of 2 years previous work experience in a luxury or private club environment
- bartending certification highly preferred
- basic knowledge of club's POS system or comparable POS system preferred
- ability to work large or small events with minimal supervision and in a team environment
- strong verbal communication skills
- must be able to project a professional, yet friendly and outgoing attitude
- professional appearance
- alcohol beverage card or certification
- food safety certification
- of legal age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Exhibit strong beverage and wine knowledge, and be professional and gracious while enhancing the member experience through outstanding service skills
- stock the bar and complete other pre-opening requirements
- arrange bottles and glasses to create an attractive and appealing display
- prepare garnishes, fruit mixes and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening the bar
- mix, prepare and serve drinks to members and guests and mix and prepare drinks ordered by food and beverage servers
- comply with basic safety and sanitation requirements
- maintain and clean bar area and equipment
- demonstrate basic knowledge of the Jonas system
- be knowledgeable of all aspects of the department and daily club operations, including events and opening hours
- collect member name and number for drinks ordered in lieu of cash
- maintain knowledge of the dinner and bar menu and be able to serve from both menus
- assure that all state and local laws and club policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed
- ensure that all members, guests and co-workers are treated in a friendly and respectful manner in accordance with the standards of excellence of The Ford Field and River Club
- assist in other departments and perform additional related duties as required
- understand and follow policies and procedures of the Food and Beverage department and The Ford Field and River Club
- know and be able to perform required role during emergency situations
