Job Requirements
- Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand and walk for long shifts
- willingness to work Monday through Friday afternoons
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- legal age to serve alcohol
- compliance with company policies
Job Qualifications
- Ability to recognize an intoxicated guest and refuse to overserve
- knowledge of food allergy procedures and special orders
- proficiency in POS system, Frequent Diner, Gift Card and Credit Card terminals
- completion of alcohol awareness training
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in a confined, crowded space with variable noise and temperature levels
- ability to stand and walk for entire shift and move safely through the restaurant area
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to recipes
- stock and restock bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies
- work a variety of hours, days and shifts including weekends
- effectively service a full bar top, cocktail station and dining room orders
- safely and effectively transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip
- safely tolerate hands being exposed to liquids including water, cleaning solutions, alcohol and juices
- safely use and operate tools and equipment such as knives and blenders
- communicate effectively to perform job requirements in written and spoken form
- multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
