Job Requirements

  • Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
  • ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand and walk for long shifts
  • willingness to work Monday through Friday afternoons
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • legal age to serve alcohol
  • compliance with company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to recognize an intoxicated guest and refuse to overserve
  • knowledge of food allergy procedures and special orders
  • proficiency in POS system, Frequent Diner, Gift Card and Credit Card terminals
  • completion of alcohol awareness training
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work in a confined, crowded space with variable noise and temperature levels
  • ability to stand and walk for entire shift and move safely through the restaurant area

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to recipes
  • stock and restock bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies
  • work a variety of hours, days and shifts including weekends
  • effectively service a full bar top, cocktail station and dining room orders
  • safely and effectively transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip
  • safely tolerate hands being exposed to liquids including water, cleaning solutions, alcohol and juices
  • safely use and operate tools and equipment such as knives and blenders
  • communicate effectively to perform job requirements in written and spoken form
  • multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
