Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Hold or obtain a valid bartending license for Milwaukee/Waukesha
- Complete Responsible Beverage training recognized by Wisconsin Department of Revenue
- Have six months of bartending experience or bartender certification
- Flexible availability including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and access to insured transportation preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive physical activities including standing and lifting for most of the shift
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Possess or willing to obtain a Milwaukee and/or Waukesha Bartending License
- Completion of Wisconsin Department of Revenue recognized Responsible Beverage training
- Preferably have six months of bartending-related work experience or certification
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excel in customer service
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to stand, reach, bend, lift, carry, and walk for 90% of shift
Job Duties
- Follow Event Manager's guidance
- Load and unload beverage products and equipment from catering trucks as needed
- Efficiently set up the bar at various event venues
- Read and comprehend the entire event contract
- Serve beverages to guests ensuring timely delivery within one minute of order
- Answer guest questions and make beverage suggestions
- Observe guests and anticipate needs while resolving issues promptly
- Alert Security and Event Manager to major disruptions
- Accurately calculate guest checks and handle payments
- Prepare garnishments and restock the bar
- Wash glassware and maintain bar cleanliness
- Complete a Bar Report at the end of each event
- Suggest operational improvements and enhance bartending skills
- Provide training and support to fellow associates
- Strive for positive feedback from co-workers and managers
- Maintain productivity during downtime and work under various conditions
