Job Requirements

Two years of previous bartending experience required
Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Must comply with state and federal liquor laws
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws
Proven customer service skills
Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately
Strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area

Job Duties

Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
Set up assigned bars
requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
Maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner
Take and/or process orders for drinks
mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes
practice prudent portion control
Check guests at the bar for proper identification
Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed
Lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops
secure bank
Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
keep work area clean and organized
Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area
Wash and sterilize stemware
Perform other duties as assigned
