Job Requirements

  • TIPS certification
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Conversational English proficiency
  • Ability to bend, reach, and carry trays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare beverages using various methods including straight up, shaken, stirred, and neat
  • Assist with additional beverage services including water, cocktail, and coffee service
  • Set-up and break down the bar, glassware, and equipment
  • Stock liquor, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages and restock as necessary
  • Enter daily sales in point-of-sale system and report inventory consumption accurately
  • Monitor bar equipment including coolers, glass machines, and soda dispensing machines
  • Present and pour bottles of wine or champagne
  • Complete side-work such as cutting citrus, polishing glassware, and preparing mixers
  • Perform close-out duties and check out with management prior to departure
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food and beverage storage areas
  • Collaborate with other bartenders and follow directions from manager
  • Communicate courteously and politely with members and guests by name
  • Maintain daily sanitation logs
  • Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by management
